Hi everyone, I know, I know. It has been forever. So I've been pushed encouraged to do a post. As you know we have moved. Unfortunately I have not done any sewing on the machine since I got here.  Last week I joined a quilt along just to get the juices flowing. More on that later.  This is a picture of the picnic quilt I made out of jeans. I sewed the top when we were in Sequim last summer and finished the quilting when we got home. I cut 5" squares. I found the red jeans at a thrift shop.

Megan and the boys visited us in March. We loved seeing the boys. (and her, too)

Before I moved I made a mini quilt for my quilting friends. This was for Carol.

This one was for Deor.

This one was for Jane.

This one was for Lelia.

This one was for Vivian. Hers was the smallest, those little green squares are 1/2 inch.

And finally this one was for Christine. I am going to miss these lovely ladies. They are good friends. And they taught me a lot about quilting.

Ethan graduated in May from 8th grade. Wow, he's in high school.

This is a sample quilt that I made for Christine's shop. I was rushing to get it done before I left. And here is the back.

This is Ethan's new guitar he got for his birthday.

So that is my photo intense update post. I will put more about the new house in the future.
