Really! what have I been doing?

I have so many projects in works that I am overwhelmed. I thought I'd sit down and show you some of my finishes and then maybe I can start focusing on one thing at a time.

This is a lap size quilt that I made for Maurya and Danny for Christmas. It is called a low volume quilt because all the fabrics are pale, beige or white background. I have been collecting fabrics for this for a long time. I love how it turned out and will eventually make another one.

This is a big lap size quilt that I made for a sample for Christine's shop back in Illinios. I gave it to Dan and Carrie this Christmas, because she really liked it. I love the royal blue and black together. It was a kit that Christine made up and sold.

I appliqued all the grandkids name on a towel for their Christmas presents. If anyone knows anyone that wants a personalized gift I'd be glad to make one for them. I am thinking $3 per letter plus the price of the towel? What do you think? To much, not enough?

I loved having lots of kids and grandkids here for Christmas. We enjoyed every minute.

This is a large lap size quilt that I made for a friend that used to be in our ward and has cancer. I cut the middle square of the star and had people sign it and write inspirational thoughts. A couple of sisters were sending a care package to her and I volunteered to make the quilt. I got it done in 8 days start to finish. It was while Kaylee was here, so she had to put aside some of her projects she wanted to work on so that I could finish this quilt.

This are some microwavable bowl holders. I will be teaching how to make these for our craft club next month.

While Kaylee and kids where here, I taught Bryan how to sew. He made a doll quilt for Malaya and a pillowcase for himself. Then all the other kids wanted pillowcases so I made them.

He picked the fabric out of my stash. He did a great job!

Kaylee made capes for each of the kids. She quilted the doll quilt the Bryan made. She pieced and quilted 6 placemats. I can't remember what else she made. She had a long list. We finished a skirt I made her years ago, Hemmed some jeans. I sewed a dress for Malaya, but didn't get a picture of it.

So I have been busy. I will try to update more often. Enjoy your day.
